Terms & Conditions

Looking to have Red Moth create your website? No worries! Here’s a few things worth reading regarding the services so that everyone is on the same page. By accepting a contract you agree to abide by these conditions.

1. Pricing

• All pricing is in Australian dollars (AUD)

2. Deposits & Payment

• Before any work will commence on any given project, a deposit of 25% of the total cost must be paid upfront.
• The remaining 75% will be required prior to launch.

3. Quotes

• Quotes are estimates given the information available from a client. Should you request extra features during any stage of the development process, the cost of your site may increase. This will be made clear to you and the extra features will not be implemented until you have agreed to the revised price.
• Quotes are valid for 3 months.
• If a client requests a function that requires purchasing a license for specific software or services (eg: domain name registration, web hosting purchases, e-commerce integration, 3rd party mailing list services, premium WordPress themes) the cost of said item will be integrated into the quote to be covered by the purchaser.

4. Responsibilities of the Purchaser

• Be aware that websites can appear differently depending on what browser or device the viewer is using. It is up to the client to inform Red Moth if they want the website to look a certain way on a certain device or resolution outside of the standard phone, tablet and desktop/laptop.
• It is up to the client to provide all business related images and content, unless copywriting is part of the website package.
• Red Moth is not responsible for a website launch being delayed due to the client not being efficient in providing copy and images, as this delays and prolongs the development of the website.

5. Site Updates

• Site updates do not include entire site redesigns or implementation of features not discussed in initial build.
• Outside of the initial 1 month period, the client will be billed at a rate of $65 per hour for site updates and maintenance.

6. Liability

• Red Moth will not be held responsible for damage to services outside of the initial website launch if not covered by our Website Maintenance plan.
